NGS 2015 Family History Conference—Sponsored Call for Papers Online Submission Form Deadline for Submissions—2 April 2014 (12:00 a.m. EST) Starting 1 January 2014, NGS is pleased to accept proposals for the NGS 2014 Family History Conference, Crossroads of America. The St. Louis Genealogical Society is the local host for this conference, held in St. Charles, Missouri, 13–16 May 2015. The deadline for submitting proposals is 1 April 2014. Organizations wishing to sponsor a lecture or track of lectures may submit proposals by completing the form below for each proposal and clicking the “SUBMIT” button at the bottom of the screen. Lecture topics should follow the Call for Papers recommendations NGS will confirm submissions by e-mail within 48 hours. If no confirmation e-mail is received after 48 hours please e-mail NGS Conference Manager, Erin Shifflett, at email@example.com. Please observe word limits for lecture title, lecture summary, and speaker biography. The system accepts up to the number of words stated and automatically deletes all others. Deadline for submitting proposals is 1 April 2014. The NGS Conference Committee has final approval of sponsored lectures and determines the day and time for each lecture. Every effort will be made to accept sponsored lecture proposals. If a proposal does not fit the program or is a duplicate of another proposal, the Sponsor may be given the opportunity to change the lecture. Sponsors are responsible for complying with all deadlines established by the Conference Committee. NGS agrees to the following: 1. Furnish a lecture room with audience seating, podium, microphone, screen, VGA cable, cart, power strip, and projector support. 2. Invoice the Sponsor after the conference for costs of additional AV equipment or Internet connections. 3. List the Sponsor, speaker, and lecture title in the registration brochure, the NGS online program, and the printed program. 4. Provide the speaker with a complimentary conference registration for the day of the sponsored lecture. By clicking the “SUBMIT” button the Sponsor agrees to the following: 1. Pay any speaker fees and related travel costs. 2. Ensure that the speaker prepares and submits quality syllabus material in compliance with syllabus submission guidelines by 15 February 2015. 3. Confirm that speakers will use electronic presentation programs and will provide their own digital projectors. 4. Advise NGS of any additional AV equipment or Internet connection requirements by 1 April 2015. Costs for extra equipment will be invoiced to the Sponsor after the conference. 5. Complete this form in its entirety for each lecture sponsored.
