Stop lugging your heavy laptops and genealogical notebooks around and use your Smartphone, iPad or Tablet instead. Learn how to retrieve, store, and share your family history on your smart device.

Discover new ways to enhance your research and capture data. In this lecture you will find apps for family trees, DNA, note taking, family stories, oral history, cemeteries, managing book collections, picture and document scanning, and more.

Using mobile devices  like tablets and smart phones for genealogy and family history is changing the way many of us research and store information and records.

This lecture is for anyone who wants to learn how to use a smart device for their genealogy. All apps we’ll discuss are free and available for both Android and iOS. Pamela will provide lots of examples of how she uses the apps in her research, and how you can easily do the same.
