Resources offer genealogical and historical information for states east of the Mississippi emphasizing migration trails into Missouri and the St. Louis region. The collection offers substantial resources for African American and French Canadian research, as well as sources for finding ancestors in German-speaking lands, Switzerland, and the British Isles.
Can’t visit St. Louis? The National Genealogical Society Collection provides access to 30,000 print items—including 10,000 family histories—via interlibrary loan.
