Michigan Genealogical Council exists to:
– coordinate/stimulate genealogical activities of statewide interest, including seminars,
– cooperate in the location, preservation, publication and deposit in suitable repositories, of Michigan records of value to genealogists,
– provide information to the membership regarding speakers, teachers, seminars and workshops, and
– encourage and/or work with other organizations or agencies involved in promoting improvements in genealogical facilities and holdings of Michigan archives, libraries, museums and record repositories.

Our membership consists of 70+ genealogical societies, historical societies, libraries, museums, and family history centers throughout the state of Michigan.

Michigan Genealogical Council president Katherine R. Willson will be presenting “Creating Google Alerts for Genealogy” (Session F359) on Friday, 04 May 2018 at 4 p.m. We’d love to see you at this session or stop by our booth 125 in the Exhibit Hall.
