SA15 Using the New Chronicling America Historic Newspaper database for Genealogical Research

Presentation will focus on using the Library of Congress’s new Chronicling America website for genealogical research.
He will introduce the new interface that has been developed by the Library of Congress, cover some new features that have been added, and show how users can use these most efficiently.
Henry V. Carter works on the Chronicling America digital historical newspaper program for the Library of Congress. He has given presentations to promote this resource.
Registrants who check in at the Louisville registration desk can access this and all the lectures they don’t catch in person on the Whova app until 15 July 2025.
