Richard Hill discovered the power of DNA during his long search for biological ancestors. He will introduce us to several forms of DNA testing as he shares the fascinating story of his personal odyssey. highly suspenseful account of an adoptee trying to reclaim the biological family denied him by sealed birth records.This presentation has been called educational, humorous, and heartwarming. A Question and Answer session will follow.

His full-length book about his search is Finding Family: My Search for Roots and the Secrets in My DNA. Midwest Book Review calls it “Impressively informative, exceptionally well written, an inherently fascinating and compelling read from beginning to end.” The book tells of the decades long search of adoptee Richard’s efforts to identify his father and reclaim the biological family denied him by sealed birth records and long kept family secrets.  Richard will have books available during Society Night and will be happy to sign them.
