St. Louis Genealogical Society – Booth #101

St. Louis Genealogical Society

As the local host to the NGS 2019 Family History Conference, Journey of Discovery, we welcome you. You will find our booth, #101, located just inside the North Exhibit Hall’s main entrance.

StLGS is a not-for-profit all-volunteer organization. The society collects, preserves, and publishes genealogical and historical records, thereby providing family historians with an abundance of research opportunities. We are the largest local genealogical society in our nation and are renowned for its resources, programs, and membership services.

An assortment of books, maps, and CDs will be available for sale at our booth #101. This will include new publications as well as our Trading Post inventory of gently used books.

We are excited to present, hot off the press, the 2019 improved reprint of Pictorial St. Louis 1875. Also brand new will be The War of 1812 in Missouri: Tales of the Red Head, Black Hawk, and Missouri Rangers, based on manuscripts by noted genealogist Robert Parkin and greatly expanded with beautiful maps, lists of rangers, and an extensive glossary. We will also have copies of last year’s popular seller, Researching Orphans and Orphanage Care in St. Louis by Viki Fagyal. The Trading Post will provide a wide variety of well-priced books on a multitude of genealogical and historical subjects.

Stop by for a browse and a chat at Booth #101!
