Triangle Jewish Genealogical Society (TJGS) – Booth 433
You don’t have to be Jewish to love Jewish genealogy! Many of our members are married to Jewish people or have Jewish ancestors. The mission of the Triangle Jewish Genealogical Society (TJGS) is to share genealogical information, techniques, and research tools with people interested in Jewish genealogy and family history.
While the majority of its members reside in the greater Chapel Hill/Durham/Raleigh area, the TJGS welcomes members from anywhere in North Carolina, the region, or the U.S. All members are encouraged to volunteer and participate in the operation of the Society. Anyone interested in Jewish genealogy, regardless of religion or heritage, is welcome to become a member. TJGS is a member of the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies worldwide. TJGS is also a member of the North Carolina Genealogical Society.
TJGS includes members with a broad-range of genealogical skills and knowledge who are willing to share information with both the beginning and experienced researcher. We welcome you to join us and other members of the TJGS on this incredible journey of finding family origins and history as well as new friends. You can read more about us on http://www.trianglejgs.org or follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TriangleJewishGenealogicalSociety.
We look forward to seeing you at our booth at NCGS in 2017!
Mike Kalt, President, TJGS, 2015-2017
