Honoring 100 Years of Women’s Suffrage
The National Genealogical Society (NGS) 2020 Family History Conference to be held May 20-23 in Salt Lake City, is excited to offer a new track, dedicated solely to women. The NGS Friday night banquet will pay a special tribute entitled, Echos of the Women Who Have Gone Before, with a presentation by Steffani Raff, an award-winning storyteller, who takes us on a journey through the history of Women’s Suffrage. Be sure to register early for the banquet as you will not want to miss this event.
“When the 19th amendment passed the fight for women’s suffrage wasn’t over. Not all American women were allowed to vote. Knowing who could and could not vote is important as we search for voting records.” Gena Philibert-Ortega
