Relax and mingle outdoors with fellow genealogy enthusiasts in downtown Sacramento’s Cathedral Square on Wednesday evening. Meet members of the conference’s local host society and taste some of California’s premium wines, accompanied by special hors d’oeuvres. Representatives from several California wineries will be available to provide answers to questions about the featured wines. A tasting of three wines is included. Additional wine can be purchased by the glass. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be served.

As a nod to the April release of the 1950 census, step back in time and join us for a fun-filled evening. Reminisce about the highlights of the 1950s. Wear your favorite 1950s attire (think Happy Days and Grease). Enjoy a casual dinner in the courtyard of the California Museum.

Which Family History is My “Real” Family History?
Colleen Robledo Greene, MLIS, calls herself a Latina Leprechaun and a double half-Mexican. Adopted as an infant into a large, loving, extended family, Colleen did not feel a need to learn about her biological family until her mid-forties. Trusted genealogy friends, search angels, DNA, and paper trail records guided her journey into a more inclusive identity.
