Learn the steps to certification through BCG, including portfolio assembly and evaluation criteria. This session equips genealogists with the tools to prepare for certification.

David Ouimette, CG, CGL, manages record priorities for FamilySearch across Asia-Pacific. He currently serves as President of the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG).

Karen Stanbary, CG, CGG, lectures nationally on using DNA in genealogical problem-solving. She serves as a Trustee for the Board for Certification of Genealogists and chairs their DNA Committee.

Angela Packer McGhie, CG, FUGA, is the vice president of the Board for Certification of Genealogists. She coordinates courses for SLIG and IGHR and is an instructor at other genealogy institutes.

Lisa Stokes, AG, specializes in U.S. Mid-South research. She has experience in the forensic genealogy field, teaches a citation course, and serves as ICAPGen President.
