As researchers we use all types of records. Why not records dealing with the everyday commodity of water. It’s not just for drinking! How was it used to support occupations, for immigration and migration, to support government roles, etc.? Available records provide remarkable answers.

C. Ann Staley, CG, CGL, is an educator, consultant, NGS faculty member, and GSG membership chair. Her specialties include methodology, records and their sources, and computer research resources. She is co-author of NGS Research in the States Series-Florida.

Registrants who check in at the Louisville registration desk can access this and all the lectures they don’t catch in person on the Whova app until 15 July 2025.
